KIST–UTIA Workshop on AI-Enabled Biomedical Imaging and Intelligent Healthcare Devices

KIST–UTIA Workshop

Date: 19.5.2026

Place: UTIA, room no. 3

Contacts: kotera@utia.cas.cz (Organization), sroubekf@utia.cas.cz (Chair)

As part of the Mobility Plus programme, UTIA, in cooperation with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), is organizing a one-day lecture workshop focused primarily on using artificial intelligence for modern microscopy in biomedicine. The aim of the workshop is, above all, to bring together the two participating institutions and to introduce the research topics pursued at these institutions.

All interested participants are warmly invited.

It will be our first meeting with the KIST group led by Dr. Deukhee Lee, with whom we will collaborate on the joint topic “Microscope-based Blood Cell Analyzer Utilizing Super-resolution Image Reconstruction.”
