The Institute of Information Theory and Automation of the Czech Academy of Sciences offers a:

Postdoc position in Monotone Interacting Particle Systems

• Preferred starting date April 1, 2026 or earlier or later according to agreement.
• Till December 31, 2027, with a possibility of extension.
• Salary 50.000 CZK bruto. (Income tax is in Czechia is 15%. Compare the living costs in Prague).

The successful candidate will work with Jan Swart on a project involving monotone interacting particle systems, inspired by one of the open problems listed in this project proposal. The precise topic will be decided in mutual agreement. Candidates can in addition bring in their own problems that they want to work on. There is no teaching obligation.
